Adding a new role requires more configuration and it is easier to duplicate an existing role to reuse its existing parameters.
Go to Setup > Role setup > Role list
Click on Add New Role in upper right corner.
Enter role name.
Enter role abbreviation.
Add role layer.
Add scheduling method.
Add start and end time.

Role Equity Group:
Default Site:
Scheduling Pass:
Break start time and end time:
Role Colors: These colors will be shown in lists and schedules.
Sort Order: Where the role shows in the drop-down role lists.
Default demand: when the role will be added in a Demand template, the corresponding Minimum and Maximum demand fields will be set to these values.
